Description:

Student workers are needed to help set up research study involving ITEC 3870 Software Development 2 courses. Work involves building website materials, working on completing software projects and posting them online, and recording and editing video for promotional reasons. Students can be employed during Spring and Summer 2018 semesters.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum

  • Must be enrolled a minimum of 6 credits at Georgia Gwinnett College in good academic standing and maintain good academic standing for the duration of employment.
  • Have experience in one or more of the following: programming in various computer languages, managing software projects online, web development, and video production.

Preferred

  • Have some free time during the Monday-Wednesday 11am-2pm time slot.
  • Have completed the ITEC 3860 Soft Dev 1 or ITEC 3870 Soft Dev 2.

Physical Requirements

Position may require local travel. Ability to lift and carry files and materials. Ability to move from one office to another office on campus. Adequate vision, hearing and manual dexterity to interact with people in person, on the phone and in writing. Applicant must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
