This position provides clerical-level support through tracking and reconciling purchases for the School of Science
and Technology laboratories.


  • Tracks and reconciles all purchases for the SST laboratories, including consumable, non-consumable small items, and equipment.
  • Monitors the status of purchases, including tracking purchases upon receipt. Contacts the purchaser as needed and required.
  • Coordinates with laboratory supervisors, Budget and Program Coordinator, and Associate Dean, as needed and required, regarding the spending and purchase status throughout the School of Science and Technology.
  • Maintains purchase order and contract files.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

Note: This position is part-time limited term with anticipated employment dates of June 1, 2018 - June 1, 2019.

SALARY: Hourly rate commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least one year of previous experience with Excel.
  • Demonstrated skill of attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

Position may require local travel. Ability to lift and carry files and materials. Ability to move from one office to another office on campus. Adequate vision, hearing and manual dexterity to interact with people in person, on the phone and in writing. Applicant must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Work Hours:Position may require non-standard work hours (nights and weekends). This is a part-time position up to 19 hours per week. Position Status:Part-Time FLSA:Non-exempt
