The Student Assistant is housed in the Office of the Dean of the School of Science and Technology. This individual will perform the duties of: a student laboratory assistant in Physics lab.

Lab assistant, to include prep work, set-up and take down, clean up, inventory, etc.

* Performs other related duties as assigned.

Hourly Rate: $8.25/hour

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications: Must be enrolled a minimum of 6 credits at Georgia Gwinnett College in good academic standing and maintain good academic standing for the duration of employment. Satisfactory completion of PHYS 2211K.Preferred Qualifications: Completion of General Education Areas A, B, and D, with outstanding performance in prerequisite math, information technology and/or laboratory science courses.Physical Requirements: Ability to move from one office to another office on campus. Adequate vision, hearing and manual dexterity to interact with people in person, on the phone and in writing. Job takes place in the presence of bio-hazardous waste, chemicals and flammable liquids.
