Case Manager/Career Advisor- Adult Basic Education Program, PT

The success of Adult Basic Education, Adult Secondary Education, College Transition, and English Speakers of Other Language students will be tracked, monitored, and counseled by the case managers. Case managers will be responsible for direct contact with students in and out of the classroom. Barriers to classroom attendance will be addressed. Case managers will work closely with instructors to present career and educational pathways to each student. Initial contact will take place at orientations – conducted by the case manager. Classes are held in the evenings at Sodus, Wolcott and North Rose.

Hours of work:

This is a part-time position. Hours are flexible and can be mornings or evenings depending on assigned classes. $22.00 per hour.


Bachelor’s degree and experience in counseling, social work, education. Knowledge of local community resources, college admission requirements, career counseling. Attention to detail, flexibility and excellent communication skills are a must. Computer skills are necessary. Valid NYS driver’s license required.
