SUMMARY Serves as an initial contact and information resource for students and staff for the Health Careers & Sciences programs. Manages program records and facilitates a variety of student processes both online and in person. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manages the day-to-day front office activities of the programMaintains accurate program data and is responsible for updating student and program records in various databases/systems in a timely fashionServes as primary point of contact for program inquiries and applicationsSchedules classrooms, facilities, and workshop presenters as neededAssists in the data collection for preparation of program reportsCreates the schedule for interview and intake appointmentsMaintains an efficient program filing systemAssists in developing program brochures and other marketing materials to meet the program needsGreets visitors and prospective participants, responds to requests for information, places and receives phone calls, and handles mailServes as information liaison for internal and external staff, and external agencies and businessesContributes to program’s bi-weekly and monthly reportsMay be responsible for updating departmental MS Outlook calendarsPerforms other duties as assigned
Qualifications:REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAININGAssociate’s degree in a related fieldSignificant related experience may substitute for educationMinimum of two years of demonstrated office or program support experienceDemonstrated experience making sound decisions that affect a work unit or team Demonstrated experience in a role requiring diverse problem solving methods in a variety of situationsDemonstrated ability to plan and forecast program enrollment needs.
