Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: Earned doctorate in Science Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field. Substantive science teaching experience in grades 6-12.

Preferred Qualifications: Minimum three years science teaching experience at the high school level. Additionally, preference will be given to scholars who have instructional experiences with STEM/STEAM at any grade level. The Associate Professor rank is commensurate with years of scholarship, strong record of research, and success in obtaining external grant funding. In alignment with the College of Education’s mission, successful applicants should have an interest in actively engaging with underperforming schools and underserved communities across the nation and state.

Application Instructions:

To apply, upload a letter of application, curriculum vita, unofficial transcripts, sample of scholarly writing, and contact information for three references to Interfolio.

Inquiries may be addressed to Dr. Megan Che, search committee chair at [email protected]

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. For best consideration, applications should be submitted by November 15, 2018. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled.
