Adjunct faculty in English will be responsible for teaching freshman composition courses focused on college-level writing projects for academic audiences. Courses will focus on critical writing, reading, and thinking strategies, as well as academic research and documentation.

Successful applicants will be comfortable working with students from a variety of backgrounds and with differing levels of academic preparation.

The AACC English Department offers English courses at our Main Campus in Arnold, as well as our satellite locations at Arundel Mills and Glen Burnie Towne Center. Daytime, evening, and online sections are available.

Required Qualifications:English applicants: master's degree in English or equivalent is required. Preferred Qualifications:
