This is a part-time day position that administers and scores academic assessment tests to adult incarcerated students within the Correctional Education program, Jessup region.

TABE testers are responsible for:

• Obtain and maintain the school testing wait-list in the CE Student Database;
• Schedule testing sessions and prepare seating charts;
• Administer the pre-test to students during intake;
• Score TABE Tests and enter score data into the CE Student Database
• Maintain test records in CE Student Database;
• Adhere to the test time limits set by TABE;
• Document unusual circumstances during the testing sessions;
• Aid teachers during TABE post-testing as needed (if time allows);
• Attend mandatory meetings;
• Complete all forms and documentation related to the testing and all documentation required by the College.

Required Qualifications:

1. High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred;
2. Experience working with diverse population, educational setting preferred;
3. Computer proficient;
4. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
