The Walter E. Heller College of Business (i.e., Heller College of Business) is looking for part-time faculty to teach one or two Human Resource Management (HRM) and/or Organizational Behavior (OB) courses for the coming semesters. These courses may be taught face-to-face in Chicago (primarily), in Schaumburg, and online formats. The courses may include industrial relations management; organizational behavior; human resource management (introduction to & strategic issues in); wage and salary administration; compensation management; employee benefits; employment techniques; selection & staffing; supervision & employee training; legal issues in HR; labor & employee relations; workplace diversity; global or international HRM; and seminar or capstone in HRM.

The Heller College of Business is looking for highly qualified and engaging instructors to teach Human Resource Management (HRM) and Organizational Behavior (OB) courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Instructors are expected to provide quality instruction to Roosevelt University (RU) students through well-prepared classes, modern teaching methods, clear communications with students, and holistic and fair assessments of learning.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Masters in Human Resource Management (HRM), Organizational Behavior (OB) or directly related field, teaching experience, and relevant HRM/OB field experience. This includes experience in middle management and at executive and senior executive levels.

Years of Experience Required 0 Required Education Masters Degree Certification/Licensure Required Minimum Qualifications

Masters Degree in HRM, OB, management or business administration or related field from an accredited business school.

Preferred Qualifications

PhD in HR, OB, Management or Business Administration or an appropriately related field; teaching experience; and publications in the field. Professional certifications (where applicable). Knowledge of using Blackboard and online teaching methods are welcomed.

Equipment Operated

Basic office/classroom equipment (desktop computer, laptop, overhead projector, office copier).

Working Conditions

Traditional classroom (fully equipped) and general office environment. Computer teaching laboratories.
