Job Details
The office assistant will provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service to peers, staff, faculty, visitors and guests in person and on the telephone. The office assistant must be able to assist the department in general office duties such as filing, making copies, special projects, etc., as directed by staff. The office assistant must be available to work evening and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications• Must be a matriculated student at Bridgewater State University and live within driving distance of BSU Cape Cod (applicants do not have to be enrolled in any BSU Cape Cod courses, but must be enrolled in at least 6 credits)
• Availability to work 15-20 hours per week
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills
• Good technical skills required (MS Word and Excel)
• Knowledge with social media
• Must be able to work independently and be very reliable
• Ability to build working relationships with peers, and office personnel
• Ability to be flexible when needed for duties as assigned
• Hourly salary $12 per hour
Potentially lifting small boxes and moving tables and chairs around as needed.
