Position Summary Information

Scope of Assignment

Applicant will provide instruction in the area of Agriculture Mechanics. Instruction to be in accordance with course descriptions, outlines, and class schedules.

Minimum Qualifications

Any bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience, or any associate degree and six years of professional experience.

Desirable Qualifications

MS in Ag Science/Education or Mechanized Agriculture or BS with a minimum of 2 years required experience in the subject area.

Desirable Professional Characteristics Example of Duties

Teach college courses in Agriuclture Mechanics to include but may not be limited to: Introduction to Mechanical Technology, Agricultural Welding, Equipment Service & Safety.

Special Instructions to Applicants

Courses may be taught day or evening.

Adjunct pools may remain open for up to twelve (12) months, however, they may also be closed once a pool is full. Applications will be viewed by Departments throughout that time on an “as need” basis near and/or at the beginning of each semester.
