Doctorate Range: $54.34 to $75.13
Summer School: $45.93 to $79.93

Scope of Assignment

Under the general supervision of the Division Dean for the discipline, the successful applicant will provide lecture and/or laboratory instruction in accordance with course descriptions, outlines, and class schedules; evaluate progress of students; advise students concerning educational matters, and perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in philosophy OR bachelor’s degree in philosophy AND master’s degree in humanities or religious studies, OR the equivalent.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience teaching Philosophy at the community college level.

Desirable Professional Characteristics Example of Duties

Teach lower division college courses in the subject listed; preparation of materials; grading student work; maintaining an effective classroom environment and workspace.

Adjunct pools may remain open for up to twelve (12) months, however, they may also be closed once a pool is full.
