Doctorate Range: $57.05 to $78.89
Summer School: $45.23 to $83.92
Summer School Doctorate Range: $57.05 to $86.17

Position Summary Information

Scope of Assignment

Under the general supervision of the Division Dean, will teach Dance courses including studio and performance based instruction in accordance with course descriptions, outlines, and class schedules (lecture and laboratory instruction); evaluate progress of student; advise students concerning educational matters, and perform other instructional related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in dance, physical education with a dance emphasis, or theater with dance emphasis, OR Bachelor’s degree in any of the above AND Master’s degree in physical education, any life science, physiology, theater arts, kinesiology, humanities, performing arts, or music OR the equivalent.

Desirable Qualifications

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience teaching Modern, Jazz and Hip Hop technique. Experience creating choreography for student performances.
