This position provides audiovisual support for the events coordinated by Conferences, Events & Reservations in Campus Life spaces. Employees provide technical support for a broad range of services including sound reinforcement, video projection, and lighting.
Additionally this position will provide event management support interacting with a diverse body of guests including students, faculty/staff, senior leadership, and community members. Superior communication skills, effective problem solving, and professional customer service are necessary qualities for the success of this position.
Must be knowledgeable in the operation of digital and analog audio equipment
Basic knowledge of computer systems specifically video projection, wireless network connection, and troubleshooting
Applicants should have at least a year of experience in the audiovisual industry and have experience in the operation of audio, video, or lighting systems
Preferred applicants will have an understanding of AV concepts such as mixing multiple audio signals, audio equalization, and supporting live performances ranging from spoken word to bands and 3+ Years of experience in audiovisual industry.Work Hours Varies Work Days Varies Hours Per Week Event Dependent Type of Position Recruitment Range $12/hour Special Instructions to Applicants
