The Department of Social Sciences at the College of Coastal Georgia (CCGA) seeks qualified applicants for the Part Time Faculty in Psychology position. This is a part time teaching position in the School of Arts and Sciences. Part time faculty members are assigned classes on an as needed basis.
Essential DutiesThe successful candidate will teach lower- and/or upper-division Psychology courses utilizing the Desire 2 Learn (D2L) online course platform. Course delivery models may include web-enhanced on-site courses, completely online courses, and “hybrid” courses with a reduced on-site commitment and an enhanced online component. Possible courses include Introduction to Psychology, Human Growth and Development, Introduction to Human Services, and electives in the candidate’s area of specialization.
Minimum Qualifications and TrainingEssential qualifications include an earned Master’s degree in Psychology or Human Services and experience with online course management.
Preferred Qualifications and TrainingA doctorate in Psychology or Human Services is preferred. Previous college teaching experience is preferred.
