Associates Degree with:
At least 5 years of related professional experience in a combination of training or training coordination for small businesses in management or technical skills, experience with training event promotion, staff members within a business/economic development organization, or human resources management training
Bachelor’s Degree with:
At least 3 years of related professional experience in a combination of training or training coordination for small businesses in management or technical skills, experience with training event promotion, staff members within a business/economic development organization, or human resources management training
•Strong time management and organizational skill
•Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

•Exercise initiative and appropriate independent judgement
•Interpret policies, regulations, procedures and applications
•Prepare clear, concise reports and training materials, letters, PSA’s and summary data
•Maintain rapport with business community interacting tactfully and courteously with clients, staff, and community.
•Ability to assess and execute effectively with regards to training, workload and contractual goals
•Adapt to daily workload and transitioning through various duties to include research, reports, requisitions, correspondence, and client intake and needs assessments in meeting operational demand
•Monitor and assess training program expenditures, income, strategies, and tactical applications
Responsible for providing professional support to a grant.Job Duties
•Coordinate, consolidate, and communicate data and narratives for the purpose of developing the required SBDC Director’s reports in compliance with Cooperative Agreement Advanced Understandings
•Maintain Director’s financial tracking system and provide daily position reports on compliance and usage of funds
•Track staff certification progress, collect appropriate documentation, prepare certification packets and report to Director actions required to achieve next level certifications in compliance with South-West Texas Border Network guidelines
•Collect, verify, and maintain client growth assessments, and their accompanying success stories in compliance with the Cooperative Agreement Advanced Understandings
•Maintain all financial records in compliance with SBA Level III examination and Texas State OSP guidelines
•Assist Executive Director in the development of Texas State SBDC response to the UTSA RFP for continued funding
•Conduct market research for SBDC Executive Director
•Provide technical assistance to professional staff, maintain software and hardware updates, coordinate distribution and tracking of asset inventory including logs, repairs, and replacement in coordination with ITAC
•Execute performance and satisfaction management system including national impact survey, new client satisfaction survey, stakeholder satisfaction survey and annual market needs assessment
•Maintain records management of Executive Director
•Facilitate workflow between the all SBDC offices and the University departments
•Maintain other compliance issues related to travel, confidentiality, counseling, and training activities
•Maintain agendas and minutes for planned meetings ensuring compliance with ASBDC accreditation standards
•Develop, market, maintain and evaluate professional business training
•Coordinate with Executive Director to develop/evaluate professional development programs and opportunities for professional staff
•Produce and maintain permanent training records in compliance with SBA guidelines
•Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly training reports in compliance with SBA cooperative agreement advanced understandings
•Prepare material, determine content, format, and style; identify accommodations for presentation; develop agenda; coordinate with presenters to present materials effectively to various size groups on business topics that result in value-added actionable take-a-ways for attendees
•Oversight of program income collections, deposits, and reconciliation enduring compliance with SBA guidelines
•Manage program income account and generate appropriate financial reports for revenues and expenditures on a monthly basis
•Maintenance of SBDC website, share drives, and video conferencing connectivity through Webex technology
•Manage SBDC mobile training lab maintaining systems and software
•Coordinate facility, furniture and fixture maintenance and usage to meet SBDC mission and goals
•Promote SBDC public relations, stakeholder development, and program advancement through community outreach
