Position Summary

The Sigmund Weis School of Business is one of a small number of programs accredited by AACSB-International that focus exclusively on undergraduate education; 26 faculty members serve about 600 majors. Susquehanna University is one of only a handful of schools in the nation that require a study-away experience for all students, and our unique Global Opportunities (GO) Program can enable faculty to lead study-away programs.

Position Summary
The Sigmund Weis School of Business of Susquehanna University seeks two candidates for tenure track positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to begin August 2019. Desired undergraduate teaching interests include the following: financial accounting (introductory and upper-level), managerial accounting (introductory and upper-level), or accounting information systems (AIS). A willingness to occasionally teach an introductory business seminar to first-year students is also preferred. Additional responsibilities include advising students, scholarship, and school and university service.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess an earned doctorate in accounting before the start date of August 2019. Candidates should also demonstrate the ability to publish research at the level required by AACSB-International accredited business programs. The usual teaching load is three courses per semester.
