Doctorate Degree in Exercise Science or other health Science or sports administration field.


Preference given to candidates with applied knowledge of the Online Learning Cortium’s best practice standards or those with at least 1 year demonstrated experience in online teaching at the graduate level.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for instructio of online graduate level course work within the Master of Science in Health and Human Performance program. Must have academic and/or professiona expertise inone of the following domains: applied physiology *e.g. exercise and nutrition), coaching and sports administration, sports ethics and law, health education, motor learning, and bio-mechanics, or research and statistics. Experience teaching in an online environment with demonstrated skills using a learning management system (e.g. Blackboard) required.

Position is Security Sensitive.

Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.

The Department of Biology, Geology, and Physical Sciences offers BS and MS degrees in biology, chemistry, and geology. The graduate programs in Biology and Geology enrolls approximately thirty students each, primarily thesis seeking.
