Job Details
These are fixed term positions, and may be seasonal, depending on the sport and the need. The incumbents provide coaching and administrative assistance to the Head Coach of relevant team; and may oversee one or more specified areas of a sporting discipline or a component of a team. The incumbent will assist the Head Coach with assigned aspects recruiting and training of athletes.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
One (1) year of related experience
- Relevant combinations of education and experience will be accepted
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the specified sports program.
Knowledge of NCAA regulations and guidelines governing the recruitment and retention of student-athletes.
Familiarity of athletic recruitment methods and techniques.
Ability to guide student-athletes in area of specialty.
Ability to initiate, develop and maintain appropriate contacts.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
Ability to identify athletic skill levels of potential student athletes
Work is performed in a variety of environments, including normal office environments, indoor and outdoor sports facilities and public areas. Travel on and off campus is required. The work is fast paced and demanding. Subject to irregular hours including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
