Job Details
Applicant must be a current Morton College student carrying 6 credits hours in the Fall and Spring. One credit in the Summer. Good academic standing with a minimum GPA of a 2.0. Strong writing skills; computer literate; knowledge of photography and/or video.
Must be able to demonstrate the Morton College core values of compassion, fairness, respect, responsibility, tolerance and truth.

Job SummaryThe Collegian intern will work with the faculty advisor to identify, gather, and write news stories for the Collegian website.
Specific Job Duties•Write news story for Collegian website
•Take photos of college events and/or create video news stories for the website
•Recruit students for volunteer positions as reporters
•Work with the advisor and IT to regularly update the Collegian website
