The ideal candidate will be able to utilize a blend of HR knowledge and technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve system related issues. Our business analysts work closely with Human Resources staff to design and create solutions to support strategic direction, write reports, manage regulatory changes, improve the employee experience, and provide training to support changes.

Reporting to the Sr. HR Business Analyst, the Assistant HR Business Analyst will assist in the analysis of data and business processes, provides system and process expertise for the College’s Human Resources systems. The Assistant BA will perform business process analytics, evaluate technical challenges, document business processes and recommend process improvements and/or technical solutions that increase efficiency and compliance.
The Assistant BA will work closely with Information Technology staff to support and participate in the development, testing, and maintenance of enterprise systems related to Human Resources as assigned. The position will be responsible to configure systems to deliver identified business requirements and resolve technical issues affecting business practices, and is required to balance conflicting and/or multiple priorities.
The Assistant BA will provide exceptional customer service while resolving system issues, producing and maintaining reporting solutions, facilitating access to HR systems for college-wide users and supporting other projects as assigned. The assistant BA will communicate with customers appropriate to their knowledge and understanding to support resolution and delivery of solutions. QualificationsEducation and ExperienceRequired:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year relevant work experience or Associate’s Degree and 3 years relevant work experience.Demonstrated experience in technical enterprise systems support.Demonstrated experience in information technology, human resources, payroll or other heavily regulated industry.Experience working in data analysis or report writing.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.Experience with Banner HR System or other Human Capital Management operating system, relational databases preferred.Experience with reporting software such as Argos, Cognos, Crystal, and Tableau.Demonstrated project coordination experience in a fast-paced, changing environment preferred.
