Job Summary:

Adjunct teaching position to teach Philosophy courses. The courses are traditionally taught in the day, evening, and/or online. Locations for classes include Port Arthur campus, dual-enrollment, Early College High School, and correctional facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Masters degree in Philosophy is required or a Masters degree with 18 hours of graduate work in Philosophy.
Ability to work with students, faculty, and staff embers in a professional manner.
Ability to plan, schedule, and manage projects and assignments.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, speak, listen, and see. The employee is occasionally required to sit, lift, pull, and carry objects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching experience at a 2 year college or university in the subject area.

Salary:

$2122 per 3 SCH

Varies. May include day, evening, and/or online
