This is an open invitation to apply for Centralia College’s Science Adjunct Instructor Pool.

Adjunct science faculty members are hired on a quarter-to-quarter basis as instructor vacancies occur.

Essential Duties Summary

The assignments may include lecture sections, lab sections or both. The curriculum, textbook, and/or laboratory procedures will be provided by the science faculty. The college has a full-time lab technician to prepare labs. Science courses are offered year-round, including summer quarter.

Required Qualifications

The applicant must have a Master’s degree in related science field and demonstrated teaching ability. Emphasis on lab safety is a must.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to applicants with community college teaching experience.
