Events Assistant 2 - $60 stipend per event

Temporary Employment Summary Under the supervision and direction of an appropriate administrator, the position will perform the duties and responsibilities as outlined by the administrator in relation to any athletic contest or other event or activity. Position Duties


Events Assistant II

Essential Duties and Responsibilities The functions covered for this position will be:
  • Cashier
  • Usher/Ticket Taker
  • Statistician
  • Concession Stand Supervisor
  • Locker Room Attendant
  • Scoreboard Operator
  • Public Address Announcer
  • Shot Clock Operator
  • Lighting Operator
  • Sound Operator
Physical AbilitiesIncumbent must be able to function effectively indoors and outdoors engaged in work of primarily an active nature. Requires near visual acuity to write, to read directions and product labels, and to observe environmental conditions. Requires sufficient hearing and speech for ordinary communication, to hear sound prompts from equipment, and to determine if equipment is functioning properly. Requires manual and finger dexterity to write and to clean and make minor repairs. Requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Qualification

Education and ExperienceGED or High School Diploma. Licenses and CertificatesRequires a driver's license. Supplemental Information
