Adjunct Faculty-Certified Nursing Assistant

W, TH, F (7am-3:30pm) Position Duties
POSITION DUTIES:
Part-time instruction of HS 61 Nurse Assistant Training course at the Community College level.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Any bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience or any associate's degree and six years of professional experience AND be a current licensed nurse (RN/LVN) non-restricted license.
A minimum of one year experience as a licensed nurse providing direct patient care in a long term care facility in addition to one year of experience planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs in nursing; or two years of full-time experience as a licensed nurse, at least one year of which must be in the provision of direct patient care in a nursing facility.
Must hold or be willing to obtain DSD (director staff development) certificate or adult school teaching certificate. DSD certification is 24hr online course that may cost approximately $100.00.
