Description:

The Department of Epidemiology at the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine is seeking applications for tenure-track faculty positions in Clinical Research in Cardiovascular Disease. Candidates with training and research experience in cardiovascular and chronic kidney disease epidemiology focusing on clinical, population, and/or implementation research are encouraged to apply. There are several large on-going clinical, epidemiological studies of cardiovascular diseases at Tulane University Health Sciences Center. We offer a supportive environment for faculty to participate in these funded studies or develop new projects, in cooperation with research centers and other departments at the Health Sciences Campus. Review of applications will begin as soon as possible and applications will be accepted and reviewed until the position is filled.


Qualifications:

Qualifications include a doctoral degree in epidemiology, post-doctoral experience, demonstrated potential to establish independent research programs, evidence of excellence in teaching, and interest in collaborative research.
