Academic Gastroenterologist  for full time position of Assistant/ Associate Professor at the Tulane University School of Medicine.  The position includes staff appointment at the Tulane Medical Center, University Medical Center in New Orleans and South East Louisiana Veterans Health Care System.  Clinic responsibilities include inpatient consults; Outpatient clinics and endoscopic procedures at Tulane and may include responsibilities at UMC and SLVHCS.  Position will also involve teaching fellows, residents and students.

MD or equivalent and fellowship training in gastroenterology

ABIM certified in Internal Medicine.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

Proficiency in inpatient GI consult service including liver, biliary and general GI cases.  Expertise in motility preferred.  The ideal candidate will have skill in variety of endoscopic procedure and a strong academic background and be comfortable in a busy clinical practice while working with students and fellows.
