Summary

The Manager of Finance and Operations for the Cowen Institute works in partnership with the Executive Director to provide organization-wide financial management by overseeing all budgets and supporting budget managers. Additionally s/he manages the annual budget planning process, grant and other financial reports, and acts as an organizational approver for expenses. In addition to financial management, the Manager of Finance and Operations oversees Cowen Institute and suite operations through supervising the Operations Coordinator and managing partner organization leases, fees, and insurance. The Manager of Finance and Operations will work with the Executive Director to support hiring and timekeeping. Furthermore, s/he will support organizational initiatives and special projects.  

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of directly related experience
• Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with complex budgets and/or grants accounting.
• Experience working with Tulane University's accounting systems.
