Under the direction of the Operations Director for Continuing Education, manages and administers aspects of the Continuing Education programs that includes collaborating with a team of management professionals to oversee overall program design, development, and implementation for District-wide programs that are moderate in scope and complexity. This position oversees three classified, administrative professionals that are part of a larger operations team that supports continuing education throughout the PCC district. Continuing education is comprised of the following programs: Community Education, Institute for Health Professionals, Professional Development and Training, Customized Training, and the Small Business Development Center. Some of the primary responsibilities for this position include oversight of the CLIMB answer center that includes management of the information line ensuring excellent customer support, online and phone and oversight of the room scheduling procedure at CLIMB; department budgetary reporting - track expenditures and provide various reports, oversight of invoice process; facility management of the CLIMB facility and other Continuing Education facility components.

Candidate Profile
These qualifications, skills and abilities are critical for success in this position.
Throughout the screening process, you will be evaluated based on the demonstration of these qualifications. - Experience building relationships and collaborating with groups of diverse people to resolve issues, requests, and concerns in a positive and professional manner.
- Experience creating and implementing systems for process management by working within the framework of existing policies and procedures.
- Experience leading teams, and training, coaching, and supervising employees.
- Experience budgeting, prioritizing, and forecasting revenues and expenses, written narratives, and presentations in a self-sustaining budgetary environment. ;
-Knowledge of contract compliance and experience managing contracts.
-Knowledge of FERPA and ADA issues.
Minimum Qualifications To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week worked). Bachelor's Degree Education, Adult Education, a Social Science disciplines, or related area (relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis).

Three years progressively responsible experience related to area of assignment, including two years of lead or supervisory experience (successful completion of PCC LEAD Academy or a comparable external leadership training program may substitute for up to 6 months of lead or supervisory experience).
Preferred Qualifications - Consideration will be given to applicants with additional related management experience beyond the minimum qualifications.
- Experience in Higher Education or a public organization. Salary:
Minimum $57,084 to range mid-point of $69,926. Placement generally will not exceed the mid-point, based on qualifications, experience and internal equity.

Paid Leave: (Pro-rated by FTE for Part-Time Employees)
- 14.67 hours of vacation leave per month
- 1 day of sick leave per month
- 11 holidays
