Director of Autism Programs
Position Summary
The Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Department of Pediatrics & Human Development seeks a leader to develop and oversee an outstanding, interdisciplinary, nationally prominent pediatric autism and neurodevelopmental disorders research program. This program will seek to identify causes of and the genetic and environmental risk factors for autism and related neurodevelopmental disorders. Our research priority will be the early recognition of these disorders, and we will place particular focus on the genomic, epigenomic, and transcriptomic factors in the development and severity autism. To accomplish these ends, the successful candidate must develop a robust partnership with families, schools, providers, and communities.

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree (MD, DO, and/or PhD) and must be eligible for appointment as an Associate Professor or Professor in the tenure system at Michigan State University, and must present a well-developed research program and a strong track record of extramural funding.
