Position Summary

The Department of Mathematics at Michigan State University invites applications for one Assistant Professor tenure system position, beginning Fall 2019. Candidates specializing in all areas of mathematical research will be considered. Preference will be given to applicants with established records of excellence in research, teaching and service, commensurate with hiring.

Applicants should submit a vita, statement on research and teaching, and should arrange for at least 4 letters of recommendation to be sent, one of which must specifically address the applicant's teaching ability. All applicants must apply online at www.mathjobs.org.
