Position Summary

Division of Sports Medicine is looking to hire an Assistant Professor of Health Programs. Duties will be devoted to a combination of clinical activities including multi-disciplinary assessments, interventions, research, and development of clinical programs. Requirements of this position also include teaching and supervision of medical students, Residents, and Fellows in clinical setting as well as special assignments made by the Chair of the Division or Clinical Director. Provide clinical care to community patients, outreach, and intercollegiate athletes. Team Physician to MSU Athletes.

Required Degree

Doctorate

Minimum Requirements

A DO/MD degree and be Board Certified/Eligible in speciality.

Desired Qualifications

The successful candidate should have prior experience in Sports Medicine. Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills. Demonstrate leadership ability. Flexibility to adjust schedule to meet patient and staff needs. Ability to manage time and stress effectively and adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting.
