Part Time Lecturer

Philosophy Department

The Department of Philosophy at UMass Dartmouth seeks an instructor for the Spring 2018 semester to teach one section of PHL 317 Ethics and Health Care Professionals and one section of PHL 101 Introduction to Philosophy. There is potential for Fall 2018 teaching opportunities as well, and the department will be establishing a pool of potential applicants. The Spring 2018 courses will be taught in person during the day. They are not night classes.

Minimum Qualifications: Qualified applicants will have a minimum M.A. in philosophy and teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications: A PhD. Ideal candidates will also have teaching experience in the relevant areas: ethics, philosophy of law, and social and political philosophy.
