The Department of Physics at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth invites applications for a Part-Time Lecturer to teach one or more first-year general physics lecture courses for non-majors and for majors in physics, other sciences and engineering. Successful candidates will be expected to prepare and teach courses, help students outside of class, and complete course/program assessments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A master’s degree or higher in Physics or a related field; outstanding communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficiency in course content and prior teaching experience, college/university
