Director of Cellular Production

The Director of the Cellular Production Facility (CPF) will have a broad range of responsibilities that maintain the viability of this GMP level facility for the production of cellular therapeutics. This facility will serve the University of California at Irvine community and extramural organizations. The Director will have direct oversight of all aspects of the cGMP production of cellular products along with responsibility for regulatory compliance and filings.

The Director will have direct reporting to and budgetary coordination through the office of the Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs, but with ancillary reporting through the Director of the Sue & Bill Gross Stem Cell Center, Director of Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, CEO of UCI Health, and Dean of the School of Medicine. This reporting structure is consistent with the expectation that the CPF will be used by investigators across the entire biomedical spectrum residing within multiple UCI academic units, will of necessity interface with UCI Health, and will have significant extramural contracted use

Salary: Commensurate with Experience
