Job Summary/Basic Function: Provide advisement to prospective, new, returning and continuing students regarding general college information, course selection, program requirements, registration and other support services. Provide information and assistance with application process, My Way services and online processes such as student planning and online orientation. Evaluate and interpret basic skills assessment, initial review of unofficial transcripts and provide information on articulation and transfer of courses.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree required. One year of related experience, which may include, but not limited to, teaching, counseling, youth work, career counseling of relevant work at a college or university. Basic working knowledge of microcomputers and related software. Hiring process includes a background check. Part time temporary hours are flexible to include evenings and Saturday mornings.
