Job Description:

The College Supervisor will be responsible for serving as a liaison to develop and maintain a working relationship between cooperating teachers, student teachers and York College Department of Education. He/She will conduct regular supervisory visits to student teachers in the field while providing documented feedback and evaluation.

Requirements:

The candidate should possess the following:

• Minimum of a Master's degree in an educational field
• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in a K-12 setting
• Teaching certificate
• Certification and experience teaching in supervision content area or certification and experience in an administrative/supervisory capacity. (i.e.,-Superintendent, Program Supervisor, Principal, Head Teacher, Department Chair, etc.) or employment as a faculty member of the college.
• Previous experience in leadership positions.
