Appointment: Full-time, clinical line position to begin Fall 2019
Responsibilities:We are seeking a doctorally-prepared occupational therapist to teach in a Masters of Science entry level occupational therapy program with plans to transition to the OTD in the near future. Teaching in a post-professional clinical doctorate program may be included, depending on the expertise of the successful candidate. Primary expertise desired in adult neurological intervention. Preference given to those with expertise in the following secondary topics:
- Upper extremity orthopedicsOT fundamentals (occupation-based theory, history/philosophy, documentation, therapeutic use of self, interview, measurement, and testing)Research methodologies/Evidence in practiceADA, community access, wheelchairs, mobility, positioning, drivingExperiential learning
PhD, equivalent research doctorate, or post-professional clinical doctoral degree, five or more years of professional and clinical experience and a commitment to liberal arts education. Candidates who are near completion of a doctorate will be considered. Candidates must have or qualify for a Washington State Occupational Therapist license. Teaching and research experience are desirable.
