All newly hired part-time Faculty will be placed on Step 1.

Full term pay rate may vary by course. Actual term pay is based on the course catalog contact hours multiplied by the appropriate hourly rate.

These positions are included in the bargaining agreement between Portland Community College and the Portland Community College Faculty Federation Employees. Employment in these positions will require, as a condition of employment, payment of monthly union dues or a monthly fair share fee in lieu of dues through automatic payroll deduction.
Portland Community College will hire only United States citizens and aliens lawfully authorized to work in the United States. All new employees will be required to complete the designated Immigration Service Employers Verification I-9 form. Responsibilities/Duties -Works closely with other faculty in lab, instructing students on radiographic positioning, exposures, image evaluation and proficiency testing.
-Requires some evaluation of student assignments and quizzes.
-Coordinates lab activities with lab instructor of grade and lab manager. Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Lab Instructor:
-Current ARRT certification and a current Oregon License in radiography
-At least 2 years full-time experience working at a facility where there are radiography students in the imaging department.

Radiography Instructor:
-At least 3 years of work experience as a registered radiographer/mammagrapher, AND hold an unencumbered state of Oregon license in radiography AND AART certification in mammography.

MRI -- Magnetic Resonance Imaging Courses:
-Bachelor's degree with evidence of specialization in MRI PLUS 4 years of relevant clinical experience (can include time spent in clinical training but no less than 2 years MRI work experience). Current certification and state license/s required.
OR
-Bachelor's degree with 30 quarter hours of MRI course work AND a minimum of 4 years of relevant clinical experience (can include time spent in clinical training but no less than 2 years MRI work experience). Current certification and state license/s required.
OR
-AAS degree in Radiography with a minimum of 5 years MRI work experience (can include time spent in clinical training but no less than 3 years MRI work experience). Current certification and state license/s required.

CTT -- Computed Tomography Courses:
-Bachelor's degree in subject area (Medical Imaging), with certification in CT ) PLUS 4 years of relevant clinical experience (can include time spent in clinical training but no less than 2 years CT work experience). Current certification and state license/s required.
OR
-Bachelor's degree in related area (Computed Tomography, Advance Radiography) with 30 quarter hours of CT course work AND a minimum of 4 years relevant clinical experience ( can include time spent in clinical training but no less than 2 years of CT work experience). Current certification and state license/s required.
OR
-AAS degree in subject area with a minimum of 5 years CT work experience (can include time spent in clinical training but no less than 3 years of CT work experience. Current certification and state license/s required.
