MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in nursing. Depending on the clinical area a master’s degree in other related health science may be acceptable, if acceptable by the BRN

OR - Bachelor’s degree in nursing if teaching only clinical and an unobstructed license to practice nursing in California.Eligibility from the Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) to teach in an RN program which includes prior clinical and/or teaching experience in nursing.

AND - The ability to demonstrate clear evidence of a sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
