Position Title: Kitchen Steward - Hagerty Center

Department: Hagerty Center

Reports To: Scott Williams

Anticipated Starting Date: April 2, 2018

Starting Salary: $11.00

All supplemental employees are required to be part of the Michigan Public Schools Employee Retirement System (MPSERS).

This position is responsible for washing and properly storing all cooking utensils, china, flatware and glassware, using a dishwashing machine or by hand, according to instructions, using the highest sanitation standards. This person stores dishes in proper areas, using care to minimize breakage of china and glassware. This individual will maintain clean kitchen areas, empty garbage, and sweep and mop floors, keeping them clean and dry. This position assists with food preparation and storage as needed. This individual must be a team player, and be able to work well with the culinary and hospitality team.


No prior experience or training required.
