Global & Intercultural Studies: Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor to teach a full load of courses in Asian and Asian American Studies for the spring and fall 2019 semesters, with the possibility of extending the appointment through the 2019-2020 academic year.

Duties/Physical Demands:

Teach a full load of courses in Asian and Asian American Studies; advise students.

Minimum Qualifications:

Require: PhD by time of appointment (for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor); ABD (for appointment as Instructor). Position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:


Consideration may be given to applicants who specialize in Asian American Studies and/or critical Asian Studies with transnational perspectives that support the program’s stated mission (http://miamioh.edu/cas/academics/programs/aaa/about/index.html).
