MCNY seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor in Information Technology Management for the School for Business. Reporting to the Associate Dean of the School for Business, the Assistant/Associate Professor will provide academic leadership for the Information Technology Program and teach courses at both campuses. In additional to teaching, he/she will serve as the Program Director. The Director will assume responsibility for student recruitment, faculty hiring and evaluation, program accreditation, class scheduling, course development and assessment, student guidance and advisement. The Director will also serve as the liaison for the program with internal and external partners, and participate in campus and community service activities.

Qualifications: PhD or equivalent in management information systems, information technology, computer science or other related technology field. The successful candidate will also have prior college-level and online teaching experience, experience using distance-education delivery methods, teaching adult learners in a diverse cultural setting, and a proven commitment to educational innovation in market-responsive and career-oriented programs.

Expertise in the area of networking, network security, or security and risk analysis is strongly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of and experience in core areas of information technology including database construction and function, heterogeneous application development, project management, and organization theory. Interest in active and collaborative learning, the instructional use of technology, and hybrid and online teaching is an advantage.
