We seek an artist-designer with a broad knowledge of historical and contemporary design practices, as well as a thorough understanding of technical, critical, and theoretical issues of design. We expect a candidate to have a developed design portfolio, professional accomplishments, and a demonstrated commitment to teaching. Qualifications:Applicants must be able to teach all levels of hands-on 3D Design (including computer modeling) and demonstrate an active exhibition record and evidence of plans for future projects and professional activity.
Teaching duties would include foundational 3D Studio classes as well as basic Product Design Classes. Using the design method to teach the process of ideation, basic problem solving, hand sculpted modeling and 3D printed prototyping. Should be fluent in a 3D solid modeling program. A successful candidate should also maintain an ability to communicate and work effectively with students and faculty.

Terminal degree in Industrial Design or MFA in a related discipline is required. Candidate must have two years of previous teaching experience at the college level or three years of professional business practice.
