DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Claflin University School of Business MBA Program seeks candidates for the role of MBA Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator will be the primary coordinator for the Master of Business Administration Program and will be responsible for the coordination and quality of academic business processes. Specifically, the Program Coordinator will recruit incoming students and manage the admissions process; provide full student services including course scheduling, academic advising, and tracking; provide international student management; communicate with students, faculty, and staff; be responsible for University policy oversight; and manage student questions and resolve issues. He/she shall also be responsible for admissions work to include answering prospective student questions; tracking and reporting applications; interviewing and scheduling; providing decisions communication; managing back-end admissions data and basic website content; and providing overall program support.

QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor’s degree or higher plus five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. The successful candidate must possess excellent customer service, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must be able to manage multiple projects and have the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

This position requires working some evenings and weekends. Travel will be required for recruitment efforts. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from the date of hire with possibility of re-funding.

SALARY:Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
