DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant Auditor reports to the Director of Internal Audit and is responsible for providing support to the Office of Internal Audit. He/she will:

  • Investigate University operations and procedures to identify and make recommendations for improvements;
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of University records and interview audited entity officials and others, as needed;
  • Develop methods to obtain required data;
  • Assist the Director of Internal Audit in planning, conducting, and writing audits within established timelines; and
    • Perform other duties which are assigned within the scope of this position.

    QUALIFICATIONS: A Master’s degree and two years of auditing or compliance experience or a Bachelor’s degree and five years of auditing or compliance experience required. The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing. In addition, the candidate must have the ability to establish and to maintain effective working relationships with auditees.
