The Exercise and Sports Science Department at Carthage College, a private liberal arts college in Kenosha, WI, invites applications to fill a vacant Clinical Education Coordinator (CEC) tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor in the Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP). Expected start date is Fall 2019.
The position requires the ability and willingness to regularly teach athletic training classes in Administration, Pharmacology, Field Placement and Athletic Training Practicum classes. The CEC position requires the applicant to also supervise student clinical progression, clinical site evaluations, student evaluations, preceptor training and evaluation of preceptors who supervise Carthage students. The position will entail a partial teaching load, with release time to perform the responsibilities of the CEC position. Participation in the activities of the Department, Division and College, mentoring students, and commitment to scholarship/professional activities as well as service to the College will be required. Candidates with an Ed.D., Ph.D. or DAT., and relevant professional experience will be considered for this position. Also, a successful candidate must combine teaching and clinical expertise in the field of Athletic Training Education and provide evidence of effectiveness in these areas to be considered for this position.

- The scope of the job requires occasional attendance at evening and/or weekend activities, meetings, events, seminars and workshops, etc. so a valid driver's license is required.
