Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics

The Alma College Department of Mathematics and Computer Science invites applications for a
tenure-track assistant professor position in Mathematics, beginning Fall 2019. We seek highly qualified candidates who have demonstrated excellence in teaching,who will establish an active research program, and who will embrace close interactions between faculty and students. All areas of specialization will be considered. Ideal candidates will show promise of innovative pedagogy, a willingness to engage in new academic program development, and a firm commitment to teaching at a liberal arts college. All candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. by the time of appointment.
