General Statement of Duties: This particular job posting is an "Open Pool" position. There may or may not be available openings at this time however, when an opening does occur, the hiring manager will draw from the pool of applicants we have on file on an as needed basis. The person in this position is responsible for making assignments, overseeing students in the clinical setting and evaluating clinical objectives. S/he must act as liaison not only between the student and patient, but also the student and staff in the facility. S/he will provide support, guidance and instruction on all aspects of patient care while at the facility and provide the student with relevant and timely feedback concerning both the care of patients and written work submitted to the instructor. S/he is responsible for provision of safe patient care and management of students who are providing this care while in the clinical setting.
Responsibilities: Prepare student clinical assignments; Supervise students in clinical settings; Evaluate students; Correct clinical papers; Demonstrate procedures and patient care in clinical nursing settings; Maintain expertise appropriate to teaching responsibilities; Perform other duties as assigned; Submit weekly student attendance sheets.

MSN preferred for Associate Degree Nursing Program, BSN required for Practical Nursing Program; Licensure in good standing as an RN in Massachusetts required; Must possess a minimum of five years full-time experience in nursing; Evidence of clinical competence in the area of clinical instruction (Fundamentals, Medical Surgical, Maternity, Pediatrics and /or Psychosocial Nursing) required.
Salary: Clinical $65.36- $78.97
Hours per Week: 10-20 hours / week days,evenings or weekends
