This position is responsible for teaching undergraduate aviation management courses in areas to include, but not limited to: aircraft systems, crew resource management, safety, human factors, flight operations,and FAR Part 141 ground school courses. Teaching may be on campus or online, with a teaching load of no more than 6 credit hours per semester. Candidate selected for this position will be subject to a background check.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree in Aviation and other Aviation related field is required.

  • Civilian aviation experience with a background in FAR Part 121 or 135.

  • Demonstration ability to teach and develop broad array of aviation training courses.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Possession of FAA Certified Flight Instructor rating (CFI) and/or Ground Instructor certificates (AGI, IGI) is desired.

SALARY: $700 per credit hour taught in class and/or $1000 per credit hour taught online.
